Biography

Surabhi Mishra holds an M.Phil degree in Commerce specializing in financial performance of micro entrepreneurs in addition to M.Com in Accounting & Finance and UGC(NET) qualification. She is currently pursuing PhD at the University of Calcutta, where her research focuses on organizational leadership and its relation with firm performance in the start-up context. She has extensive field-level experience in small-scale business development and strategic business advisory for micro scale businesses, with a few publications on similar themes. She has over 3 years of academic research experience and her contribution to the same have been applauded by various national and international institutions including the Rick and Susan Goings Foundation, Rollins College Florida USA, Tupperware Brands World Headquarters and the University of Calcutta. Her diverse research interests include gender trials in entrepreneurship, strategic management & business planning, leadership, organizational culture, and business research related areas. Presently she is a Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Management Studies at Administrative Staff College of India.
